Endurance Configuration Model

To the right, the Simulink model of the endurance configuration of the boat is shown. The model allows for the modeling of solar insolation to solar panels, the simultaneous charging and discharging of the battery bank, and the finding of the optimal voltage as the system runs. The model outputs the percentage of discharge for the batteries, the voltage discharge curve for the batteries, the current versus thrust, and the current versus horsepower of the motor.
